HOMECOMING WIN FOR THE PACK!

Kedren Young (#3) taking a handoff from T.J. Hammond (#14)

It was a back-and-forth slugfest through 3 quarters until the pack final point the game out of reach scoring twice in the fourth quarter to secure the game 28-14.

Kedren Young was the stand-out player in this game. He ran for 212 and scored 4 touchdowns.  His run for a 70-yard touchdown was what put the game away and gave the Pack a two-touchdown lead.

The defense showed up big for this game holding North Mesquite to 14 points when they are 30 points per game team.

What helped the defense was stopping the run game.  North Mesquite had 37 rushing yards on 24 attempts.

This was a win for the team to keep playoff dreams alive and climb up the rankings. The team went from tied at 8th place to 5th in the district.

Hopefully, the Pack can go on a winning streak and beat McKinney North this Friday at 7 p.m. at McKinney ISD Stadium, located at 4201 S. Hardin Blvd., McKinney, TX, 75070.
